Carnival Site Plan

We have added a SECOND "WRIST BAND NIGHT" - Thursday July 10th. One low price lets you ride all night!

This year marks the second in our BTHS Carnivals. The first proved to be a wonderful success and fun for all who attended and were involved. The Carnival lasted 4 days and created $23,000 in profit to be used toward projects to enhance BTHS. The first of these projects is planned to be a renovation of the stands surrounding Keller Memorial Field. Keller is the home of the teams of BTHS and plays host to many other events such as Graduation Ceremonies and, for the last few years, Relay-For-Life. Money raised from last year will be combined with some of the proceeds from this year to finally accomplish this goal.

This year, we have added a 5th day to benefit all of the organizations that participate in the success of this year's Carnival. All profits on that day will be divided based upon each group's participation. ALSO NEW this year, the Carnival Committee will become its own organization. The idea is to keep the Carnival's going past this year and into the future to benefit other worthy projects.

A seperate Grant Committee is being formed to accept ideas and agree on how the proceeds will be spent. This year, the Accessibility Campaign received $2,500 towards helping to make BTHS more accessible to handicapped individuals. The hope it to be able to fund many projects that will in some way beautify or enhance Brick Township High School.

Brick Township High School - The Home of the Dragons. The impact of BTHS on the community of Brick Township is hard to measure but easily felt. In many important ways the beginning of this one center of learning began so much of what the community of Brick Township values most, a history of Tradition and Pride.

Symbolized by the image of a Dragon emblazoned with Green and White, the school has become synonomous with integrity, honor and spirit. So many people over the past 5 decades have contributed to this proud tradition. Many of them have been products of the school as well.

One of the most important of these individuals is Warren Wolf. There is no doubt that his presence has had much to do with the positive impact that BTHS has had in our community. As a leader who has personified integrity throughout his career, he continues to set the standard for others to follow. Mr. Wolf is a central part of this year's celebration activities and is in the process of creating a historical book about the school.

Please join us for this year's BTHS Carnival.  This will be a 5 day event located in the West Parking Lot of Brick Township High School. There will be rides, games, food and entertainment suitable for everyone in the family. We have contracted with Campy's Amusements to provide the experience and resources to make this a professional event. We are counting on the community leaders, alumni, staff, students and families to make the carnival a success.

Please take the time to become involved in what promises to be another landmark event for our town. Get involved and help run the Carnival Committee or help identify projects that the proceeds might benefit by becoming part of the Grant Committee.

This is YOUR EVENT and YOUR OPPORTUNITY! Make the most of it!
